I stayed at a ski-in ski-out hotel in Snowmass that made accessing the slopes super easy. The location was just perfect for skiing. However, I was quite disappointed with the overall service and the dining experience, especially given the high price point. The room was decent, but as a Marriott Bonvoy member, I expected more in terms of amenities and service perks.

Rooms
6.0
The room was decent, but not up to the premium standards I expected and definitely lacking in amenities.
Service
5.0
The service was hit or miss; while some staff were attentive, overall, it felt like they weren't well-prepared for their roles.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent for skiing; I loved being able to hit the slopes directly from the hotel.
Dining
5.0
The food was a big letdown; my lobster tail was cold and poorly cooked, which was unacceptable for a resort of this caliber.
Facilities
5.0
While the potential is there, the hotel appears to be still a work in progress, lacking the facilities that should be standard at a premium resort.

I had an overall great experience at the Westin Snowmass. The ski-in/ski-out access was fantastic and the staff was incredibly helpful, particularly in the ski valet area. While the rooms were spacious and comfortable, I found my view disappointing. Dining options were decent but pricey for what you get. It was definitely more on the expensive side, but the convenience and amenities make it worth considering, especially for families.

I recently stayed at the Westin in Snowmass and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The location is unbeatable for skiing, with easy access to the slopes and a charming village atmosphere. The staff really stood out for their attentiveness, especially during my son's time at the kid's club. However, I did encounter some service hiccups at the restaurant and with the airport shuttle that could be improved. Overall, I would definitely consider returning, perhaps during a quieter season.

Rooms
9.0
We stayed in a deluxe pinnacle room that offered a wonderful view of the slopes and was equipped with comfortable amenities like a refrigerator and a cozy layout.
Service
7.0
While most staff were incredible, especially at the front desk, I did experience some delays in the restaurant service that dampened the overall impression.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, being close to the gondola and several dining options, allowing for easy access to the Kid's Adventure/Ski lessons and the vibrant village.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience didn't fully meet my expectations, particularly during breakfast, where the buffet was a bit lacking in quality and service was slow.
Facilities

The facilities were lovely, including heated outdoor pools that provided a great relaxation spot after a day on the slopes.

Our stay had a mix of experiences. While the service was exceptional and the staff truly went the extra mile, the hotel itself feels a bit tired and the room could use some upgrades. The pool area was quite nice but overall, I expected more from the Westin brand. Additionally, the location is great for skiing, but the resort overall has room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room was fine but on the darker side, and it felt slightly outdated, which made it less inviting than I had hoped.
Service

Service was the standout feature; every staff member was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.
Location

The hotel is excellently located for ski enthusiasts, making it super convenient to hit the slopes.
Dining

The pool area was very nice, which was a highlight after a day on the slopes, but other facilities felt a bit worn.

6.4/10

My stay at Westin Snowmass had some mixed experiences. While the location is absolutely unbeatable for skiing, with easy access to the slopes, my room was disappointing due to a lack of basic amenities and poor maintenance. The service interaction left much to be desired, lacking attention to our concerns, though the bar area provided a nice social vibe. Overall, the idyllic surroundings were the highlight, but the price tag for this experience didn’t seem justified given the room issues.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious but lacked basic cleanliness and needed maintenance, with no extra towels or amenities provided. It fell short of expectations for the price paid.
Service
5.0
Service was quite inconsistent; while some staff were helpful, others didn’t address our concerns regarding the room effectively.
Location
10.0
The location is phenomenal, being right in the heart of Snowmass with easy ski-in/ski-out access and proximity to downtown Aspen.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were decent, but the breakfast pricing was a bit steep when considering what was offered.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities like the bar area and lobby were great for socializing, and the overall atmosphere was lively.
